Discrimination

Flicks the tongue
of obsenities
a piercing poison
stabbing
mortal wounds
encasing
one's victim
in a whirlwind
of hate
and fire.

Liquid passion
lingering rage
salivating
from mouths,
tongues,
lips,
until broken
is the target,
the victim.

Loyalties
and pride
diminished.

many souls
one body.

Unbreakable

Hearts of glass
crack upon resistance
shatter to the touch
miniature shards
pierce the soul
pulled together
with care
unbreakable.

Passion's Fire

Hot tongues
    Lick the skin
Caressing
    In moist heat
Burning Through Flesh
    Touching
The soul
    Locked
In the heat of passion
    Fire of eyes
Connected
    In a daze
A magic
    A dance
Starving hunger
    Increased
By Burning desire
Founded forever

Ashes
Dust.

Stone Angels

Permanent faces
embedded in rock
canvassed features
of lonely eyes
and broken wings
chipped feathers
cracked physique
gathering
to guard
over
passing years.
